Pray, Serve, Grow

We have been inspired by Bishop Nicholas to deepen our prayer life, develop the way in which we serve our community and look for ways in which God is helping us to grow both in encouraging people into the life of the Church and in growing as the people of God in this place.

Alongside our Sunday worship, we have daily prayer throughout the benefice, praying with and for our villagers as well as the wider Church and world.

    On Wednesday 20th October, Bishop Andrew took part in an online debate exploring "Does the parish need saving?", hosted by the Church Times.
  • Ringing for COP26 October 22, 2021
    The call has gone out to our parishes to join churches across the country sounding the alarm of the climate and ecological emergency. Churches are being asked to ring their bell or bells at 6.00pm on Saturday 30th October to coincide with the beginning of COP26, possibly the most critical global climate conference in history.

  • "Rise up in concern for Creation" October 22, 2021
    On Sunday 17th October, over 50 people from local churches around Lyme Regis and Uplyme gathered together on the sea front for a café-style event to pray and commit to climate action ahead of COP26.
